I say 438-1039 (puts PP and Stephenville in 3A)

I would love to have Pilot Point back in the same district with Celina. I would like to see Celina, Pilot Point, Prosper, Sanger, Argyle, Van Alstyne. That would be a fun district.

I think it will be Celina, Prosper, Pilot Point, Frisco Heritage, Sanger, and one of the following: Argyle, Whitesboro, or Gainesville (maybe Anna or Melissa as the last, just depending on the direction the UIL stretches the district

Not looking forward to this re-alignment. With our 448 number, I fear some things will be changing for Yoakum this go around.

1.) If we go East, and placed in a district with schools much larger than us. Being 100 less than another school is tolerable, but-- some projected El Campo, with a near 1000 figure being in that district too.

2.) Not being in the district with Cuero. They might go West. Just not the same not having them. Pleasure playing such a class act school for all these years. Just don't sound right not being in district together.

3.) Some strong talk going around the state that UIL wants more 2A schools---thus, a 450 bottom number for 3A could happen. So, we would drop down to 2A. Yes, we would be more competitive if this happened, but---we all know the best ball in the state is at the 3A level. Plus, I just paid my 3ADL dues for the year.:foul:

I usually get all excited when re-alignment comes around. This time, I'm fearful some major things are about to happen to Yoakum.

I dont think Melissa is moving up just yet. I dont think they even have 400 kids yet.

Don't forget, Frisco Lone Star will be opening up as well so they have to be accounted for. Plus doesn't Aubrey have 3A numbers?

I think Argyle, Sanger, Whitesboro and Gainesville will hook up with Decatur and Bridgeport again, and Celina, Prosper, Pilot Point and the two Frisco schools will be together with Aubrey (if Aubrey moves up) or otherwise Anna.

A lot of bubble teams in the mix, including PP, Aubrey and VA that make predicting hard. Who knows where the line will be.

Aubrey isn't on the bubble. They turned in 470...that is more than Whitesboro.

Bottom will be 441.5. That half a kid will keep PP back in 2a. PP becomes the Highland Park and Abilene Wylie of 2A.

If PP and Stephenville end up in the same classification, it will be a perfect example of how screwed up 3A is in breadth of enrollment figures... Heck PP played their 2A semifinal game at Stephenville this year.
