Yeah...if Padilla is somewhat accurate as we are in 2a we will be having several road trips over 100 miles...

I honestly dont see the district going like he projected. There was one that would be like 186 miles then one 170 something and one like 130. Honestly I see teams closer in our area being in our district if we do drop.

Yeah im just really interested to see what the bottom 3a/top 2a will be. Many people are saying 440-445 range, some others say it will stay at like 430, and a very small amount say 405. There are definably going to be some travel issues from some teams.

Just don't remember being sooo stressed about realignment. Always have been concerned at this time of the biannual hoopla, but for some reason this seems more dramatic. Maybe it's the fact that I wasn't on this board during the last realignment. I find myself wondering about the source of this stress. Not pointing fingers, you understand!:D :D

I don't feel they are anywhere near as friendly over there though and it's divided up by region so you don't get as much info on everyone from across the state without having to work through all of the pages. Nothing compares to the 3adownlow, it's a fact Jack! I just don't go over there much, I can get the same info here by asking the right questions to the right posters.

On a side note, I feel like a lot of the problems on the 2A site come from the Moderators being the trash talkers and then they ban anyone that argues with them.

I think there will be somebody get screwed in this area and get put in a weird district. It is the UIL. I think they will try to have almost exclusively 6 team districts and get rid of bye districts. I think either them or PP gets put it a weird position in an odd district

Pilot Point
Sanger

Gainesville and Whitesboro could be sent either east or west but most likely split up, Gainesville west and Whitesboro east.

Someone from the 2a site said they knew someone who drove a trash truck that heard it will be 427 for the bottom which would still have us in 2a. I see it rising a little from the 2008 300 number but either way im pretty excited to see what happens Monday morning.

One thing I have learned about the UIL over many years---expect the unexpected from them. Once you think you have them figured out, they fool ya.

Still sticking to my 450 bottom number for 3A. Just because I know they wanted to increase the number of 2A schools from the prior realignment.

Sounds like a solid district. Travel for Llano is no worse than if you us with Bandera,but the eateries are better.

With transportation costs continuing to rise, a major concern for many schools is the proximity of their competition.

Wimberley, for example, was not happy when the UIL placed it in a district with schools from the Dallas-Fort Worth area in 2006. :doh: :doh:
