Realignment show LIVE from UIL offices

hey folks,
Just to let you know, we're doing a LIVE show from the UIL offices on the morning of Realignment. It will be broadcast on K-MAC Sports (http://kmacsports.com) and you're WELCOME to shoot us an email (chuck@kmacsorts.com) that morning to find out where your school ended up.

From all the talk on this web site, Feb. 1st is going to be an interesting morning, to say the least!

Good times indeed! Talked to Round Rock ISD AD Jim Loerwald yesterday - says he's looking forward to the Region Center meeting here in Austin as well!

I agree with a post here on another thread - UIL Realignment Day should be a state Holiday! :D :cool:

3ADL in the past realignment years has usually had the new 3A alignments posted just moments after it has been released. The file format has been in the past a PDF file, and most likely will be a PDF file again this year, so you will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your PC once I get the file.

In 2008, we had posted the file BEFORE 9:00AM [02-01-2008 08:59 AM], just seconds after the UIL released the information. Our server time is set daily by the NIST time server.

For those of you who are UNREGISTERED members, you will be unable to download the PDF file until you are a registered AND APPROVED member. So, you may want to think of registering NOW to be approved over the weekend.

For those who care:
Here's a preview/rough sketch on our intended format for the show tomorrow - send us an e-mail, chuck@kmacsports.com.

*At 9 a.m., I will go over the K-MAC Sports/Austin area schools and their new realignment.

*At 9:05 a.m., Jay and Mark (from SASports.com) will go over San Antonio/South Texas area.

*At 9:12-ish a.m., I"ll jump back on air and answer e-mails that JB and I have compiled. Right after, I'll go over Houston/Waco/3ADL areas.

*At 9:50/10 a.m. we're supposed to get Mark Cousins (UIL Policy) then UIL AD Cliff Odenwald for interviews.

We won't be POSTING anything, dogman11, because by the time our show is over, I'm guessing most web sites in the state - including 3ADL - will have had time to post everything.

Our on-air show is intended to get the info out ASAP to our listeners, so that (a) we've covered most, if not ALL, the state by 9:20 a.m. and (2) by 10 a.m. anyone who wants/needs to know where their school is will know.

yeah, if we dropped we would probably be in the region 3 section and that part of the 2a site is pretty dead

getting off-subject here. anybody want to take a guess as to who is in your district. i really hope than jasper gets in a district with towns that are closer. our trips last year ranged from 30 minutes to 2 hours. before that, our longest was about an hour.

Our apologies about the show. The signal for some reason wasn't strong at all in the UIL offices and it faded in and out - as opposed to 2 years ago when it was clear and strong!

Unfortunately, the Gremlins hit us this morning. But now everyone knows where their teams are - and hey, Liberty Hill is in Region 4! Yay! :clap: :D LOL
