Not sure where you got your info, but Rochat was one of the finalists. While he was not currently on the coaching staff, he is employed by the school district.

I heard they have named 3 finalist with the decision coming this week.

The Hondo Anvil Herald has reported all along that the selection committee and the school board want to have a coach in place before realignment which is next Monday. Therefore I fully expect a coach to be named this week. As of last Tuesday there were 9 finalists and 8 of them had interviewed. Once the interviews are complete ( and they should be by now) the committee will take their choice to the school board for a vote.

I had heard and saw on this site and a local san antonio site that coach graff from la pryor had gotten the job has that changed?

Being a VP in the school Dist. does not make you a hire with in!! He was not on the present staff!! I do agree he gets paid from Hondo tho!!

He was on the staff up until about 3 years ago and did a hell of job....oh well.....they made their decision....
