Goodbye, "Mr. Baseball" (Bobby Bragan)

Bobby Bragan, known as "Mr. Baseball" died last night. Baseball and Texas will both miss him greatly. I met Bobby on several occasions as I worked with his son for a couple of years in the 70's. He liked big cigars, too.

He was a great guy. I got the opportunity to meet him several years ago. He gave me a an autographed Tom Landry and Roger Staubach poster!
