Like the article said, he just now won the first playoff game of his career. I'd let him prove himself some more before taking on a few more years. But oh well, obviously Jerry loves locking people up after one good year.

IMO, this might work out fine. The coaching assignments they had toward the end of the season seemed to have had a positive effect on the team. Also team leaders like Brooking stepping up helped give the team a jump start. Gotta luv that guy!

interesting...I'm seeing a lot of reports right now that it's a two year deal, which essentially means Jerry extended Phillips into the lockout year that might not happen.
