When do they get started?

They should win a few and lose a few. Tight race with Cuero and Yoakum. Cuero favorite.

They have a lot of talent coming back, they have eight out of nine starters returning.

Of these starters coming back what kind of pitching do they have. Do not think Cuero is going to be the same factor as the past and also Goliad is returning everyone from last year (even thought they did not fair well). I think teams with at least 3 solid guys on the bump will win this district.

They have the Orsak kid who was their #1 before injuring his shoulder last year, he should be healthy, they have Kam Jones who beat goliad twice last year I believe. They have two strong juniors coming back as well, Darilek and Pemberton who gave them quality innings. THey will have plenty of sticks as well. Chavarria, Jones, and Barton their catcher all had strong offensive years last year. Darik is a First team All-District 1st baseman as well as Jones in centerfield and Orsak on the mound.

sounds like they got some things cooking but on the 3A baseball site they are not even picked to make the playoffs. Gonzales really only has one pitcher (Burton) and a catcher coming back so I do not see how they will make playoffs. Will be interesting as it unfolds I guess
