The Luling cross country team was out running this morning when several of the runners were hit by a car. One runner was killed and three other rushed to the hospital.
Luling is state ranked in AAA and has a great tradition of cross country.
Please keep these young athletes, their families and the Luling community in your prayers.

OMG. This really hits close to home. My daughter runs cross country and their practice track has them running down several stretches of streets before they veer off road. My heart goes out to the whole community, and my prayers go out to the victims as well as the driver of the car.

My wife and I were stunned by this tragic event. I know this may be early, but can someone let us know where donations can be sent. I can't imagine how the familys'feel at this moment.

Wow, what a heartbreak. How life can change in the blink of an eye. They are in our hearts and prayers, something like this hits the entire community. May the Lord shower His love and comfort on the loved ones of those young people.

Hits to close to my home too. One of my son's run cross-country also and this is real shocker. My prayers will be added and then so will many others from the Burnet area. May the good Lord wrap his arms around all that is effected and confort and console them. Kids are such a blessing, remember that!
