I find it funny that 1 of the 2 teams that beat yall this year isnt in your top 3.

Brownwood:

Best
Stephenville
A. Wylie
Wimberley

Worst
Breckenridge
Dalhart

So you MUST put a team that beat you as one of the top 3?

Kinda makes sense when it's one of only two that beat you.

Any team that played Cuero would have to include them on their best list. Just one awesome football team. Ingleside does not hang their heads in shame because they lost to Cuero. Just one hard team to beat.

To me that even proves my point further. They played in the state game and lost by the same amount they did to Brownwood.

and? You can beat a team that you feel is better than a team you lost to. Sorry but it seems like your fishing for someone to rate Brownwood as one of the top 3 teams they saw.

Kinda reminds me of all of you Cowboys homers around here..... got pretty full of yourselves after the N.O. win.... and then get whacked by the Vikes...who N.O. had beaten earlier in the year. Just proves that the old "well so and so beat so and so.....blah blah blah theory is inaccurate and nothing more. ;)

The guy has an opinion....why trash him for it?

Carthage is obviously better than Brownwood and anybody else save Gilmer. Back to back titles says it all.

Pittsburgh made a good run, and they had an excellent offense. I would say they would probably be the closest to Brownwood, but having gone deeper and beaten some good teams as well, they get the nod if I was a Graham fan.

Abilene Wylie would be a toss up. They beat Brownwood and lost to Graham. IDK, but they still made it to the state final and challenged Gilmer for a while there.

Just an outsider's opinion.

Now for Navasota...

Best
1. Gilmer - hands down
2. Silsbee - a win for Nav
3. Caldwell - a loss for Nav

Worst
1. Hearne
2. Taylor
3. Henderson - though they got better in the season

Best
1. Caldwell- lost 35-28
2. Navasota- Won 24-22

2. Taylor- Won 47-21
3. Bryan Rudder- Won 34-16

This is how I came to my conclusion about Bandera.

I took Aransas Pass off the list. Very young team. Almost equal to a junior varsity team. It would not have been fair to even include them.

We played two 4a teams - Rockport/Fulton and CC Miller. I feel both of these teams could have competed very well in 3a.(Both will probably be 3a this coming season.)

Falfurias and Zapata were definitely the 2 worst teams Ingleside played.

I had to make a decision between Rio Hondo and Bandera for my #3 worst team. It was nothing personal or vindictive. I just felt Rio Hondo had more shining moments than Bandera did.
