Next week I'll be cheering hardcore for the Saints. Or at least as hardcore as I can for any team that isn't the Cowboys.

As much as I like Adrian Peterson and even thought that Favre looked good at QB last week, I don't think that they are going to come out victorious this week.

I'd like to think the game-losing interception was a little bit of cosmic payback for the late touchdown last week.

X2 as well as Minnesota's bald coach who talked smack last week AFTER they won the game.
Normally I root for the team that beats my team in the playoffs, be it high school sports or the NFL, but I couldn't root for the Vikings this week after last week.

I love the Cowboys. Been a fan all my life...but I am glad the Vikings threw that last TD. Maybe it will put a little fire in their hearts for next year.

i like to feel the late touchdown was just a great diving catch by shiancoe. all this karma bs cowboy fans want to talk about...what about the play right before the touchdown where brookings was "Classless" after a tackle on berrian, he stayed on top him for 6 seconds, pinning berrian's neck down while the ref tried to get him to get up, then insisted of using berrian to push off to get up. brookings acts like an infant and crys like one just as well.

and for those who said they would have taken a knee? c'mon man, 2 minutes left in the game, tell me youre going to take a knee? i wouldnt even take a knee at a church game. 4th down, cant punt...run it up the middle? maybe, field goal...no way!!! way too classless!!! lets make them stop us and have some fun. its a game played by professionals, it should be rubbed in every play if the other team cant stop them.

It's only stupid because its true?
I tried to find a picture of a Minnesota superbowl ring but couldn't.
Maybe you can help me out?

No, but you brought up the Cowboys, so I thought I would remind you of the number of Superbowl rings they have.
Again how many does Minnesota have? :p

Incidently, I have only about 1/10 the number of post you have on here, but I have figured out that threads on here rarely stay on topic.
So what does you calling Brooking a cry baby have to do with Skol, Vikings?

Minnesota franchises.... the hardest to be fans of...you just set yourself up for disappointment season after season; the best at coming up short. no team has as many nfc or afc championship game appearances (nine) without a single super bowl title. yesterdays loss put many vikings fans into a nightmare back in 1998 losing in an overtime fieldgoal. the one nfl championship they did win pre merger, went on to play the chiefs in the superbowl and lost.

No way the Vikings fans can compare their long-term suffering to the Saints fans. Not even close. 33 years without a single Super Bowl appearance, and for several years Saints fans wore paper bags over their heads that said "Aints".

Oh, man, I remember those! I guess no matter how longsuffering Cowboys fans feel like we are, I guess we should be pretty grateful that we've had so many years of glory and SO MANY SUPERBOWL RINGS.

Not even close. there is a difference between always losing the big game, and just always losing. unless you throw in the katrina subject in there... i stick my ground. think the only team to really compete with vikings losing is the buffalo bills...4 straight super bowls, 4 straight losses. if you wanted to talk about just the losers...detroits got saints beat

There are plenty of older Lions fans alive who remember when their team was the NFL champion after the 1957 season. It was before the Super Bowl, yes, but it was an NFL championship just the same.

Saints fans can't say that and neither can Vikings fans.

Saints fans can't say that and neither can Vikings fans. they also on in 35, 52 then repeated in 53. 57 is the last championship theyve had, havent qualified for the superbowl and have only been in the playoffs 9 times since 57 with only 1 playoff win in that time. they currently have second-longest NFL championship drought. only team to lose 16 games in a season second team to go completely defeated. of the 4 teams left that havent been to a super bowl 2 of them are expansion teams( jags and texans) and then the browns, who became the ravens and won the superbowl in 01,still officially seen as one continuous franchise with a 3 year break.
