If I were Mushcamp, I would take the 2MM raise and negotiate a 500K bonus for each time he beats the Gators or the Tide. Also if he wins a NC he should negotiate the 1 dollar more than the highest paid coach clause. He has them by the short hairs, he should pull hard!

Too many people thought that Muschamp going to Tennessee was a no-brainer. Why is it so hard to see that you don't have to be head coach to be happy? Some elements of a job are equal to or worth more than money. He WANTS to be at TEXAS. I'm not a die hard UT follower, but I'm glad he stayed. As shocking as it sounds, it really ISN'T all about the money for some folks. He's got the sweetest gig of any assistant coach in America.

We know none of them will schedule Texas and vice versa. And I doubt we will see Florida or Bama outside of the NC game....but I would say a 100,000 dollar raise every time they beat A&M ;)

Its almost guaranteed :D
