PP is losing their whole backfield a D1 Tackle and D1 TE/DE, they won't be as salty as they have been (still pretty good) and Aubrey will only be returning 3 or 4 starters each way. We played them both and I think that Sanger was better than Aubrey this year. They will be better next. Argyle is losing a ton and their JV was just ok. I think they will come back to the pack a little.

This actually wouldnt surprise me at all. We've bounced back and forth from east to west and back several times. We have played in the same district with all of these teams on several occasions through the years. A. Wylie to Lubbock is a pretty good haul though. I dont think Wylie has ever been in a district that has reached this far west. Usually when they send us west, Wylie goes east.

You did not see our JV unless you were at the varsity game. We move up the majority of the JV players to play on Friday and let our Freshmen play your JV. Argyle will be good again next year. That being said if Matt is right that is one nasty district.

Are you are implying that Argyle does not have a JV team. I know they have a Freshman and JV team. Celina shut out the JV team after the Freshman game. I have pictures!

Maybe you were just referring to the Whitesboro game. Why would they move those kids up for one week? Lack of competeition form Whitesboro?

I am not saying that Argyle is going to be a poor team just not as good as this year. You can't replace all of those offensive linemen, the defensive linemen and linebackers without some slippage. They will still be a very good team, just not as good as this year.

Based on your D30 and D31 projections, I think D32 looks like this, with Lyford dropping down to 2A.

Port Isabel
Rio Hondo
La Feria
Hidalgo
Progreso
Raymondville
Zapata
Rio Grande City #2 (new school)

im going out on a limb and say Pleasanton might go back to the last 3A district they were in with Poteet, Devine etc.

they could even go toward LaVernia, Sam Houston, Somerset...idk.

does seem a little odd to send them to the coast........but who knows.

This would be the most "fuel efficient" district in memory.

Farthest road trip is < 40 miles. Three are < 20.

Gladewater - 13 miles
Kilgore - 29 miles
Pittsburg - 18 miles
Tyler Chapel Hill - about 43 miles
Longview Spring Hill - 15 miles

Not bad........not bad! Pretty tough district at the top, too, with Gilmer, Pittsburg, and Kilgore. I don't think Gilmer would go D1 for the next two years for sure...

Oh SNAP! Um....2A? :D

I kid. Most likely in D31, but wouldn't that make D31 pretty huge?

*EDIT* - Ok, I took a look back. Would make D31 a 7-team district with Falfurrias added to it. Pretty good size district.

We used to have Floresville in our district in the 80's so this is plausible.:nerd:

Waco District (District 8) is the most fuel efficient.

Movement of the Waco District (D8) and the new District 6 to Region 1 will have a significant impact on that Region come playoff time.

Lorena, LaVega, Robinson and Connally are not Hillsboro and Whitney. Plus you through Argyle in the mix
