I hear that a former baseball coach from the dub and a former NFL'er who are the staff members are getting interviewed but don't who the others are.

So nothing new on this job. Word was that there were over 70 applicants. They have to start this process soon.

I don't know the interviewees but I heard they were interviewing 2 people who are currently there. And I heard a total of 10 getting interviewed.

Don't bet on seeing a list of candidates. Supt will keep it under wraps. Only he knows who will get the job, I bet he knows right now

The local paper can file a Freedom of Information request with the school dist. to have the list of applicants released. That's what the Victoria Advocate did and the complete list of AD and HC applicants was printed in Tuesday's paper.

The last time the kids knew who it was before Feb. 1; but everyone I have talked to doesn't know. If it is somebody from the outside it will be interesting to see their approach.

I think Sawyer started his career at Madisonville as the running backs coach, before he went to Berkner about 10 years ago. He has been the Co DC at Berkner for the past three years. He has done a heck of a job! Berkner has been known for years for its triple option threat, but in recent years it has been their defense that has kept them winning ball games and making playoff apperances.

No it isn't odd. Coaches come and go at every school. Are you a coach?

Sawyer's a good young coach. Congrats to Sweeny and their leadership. They did a great job during this proccess.
