well deserved. But where is Chris Johnson?? He definitely should have been a top dog in the race

He earned it, but Chris Johnson deserved at least consideration with his performance this year

I think Johnson opens up the meaning of MVP debate. I think may have been the best player but not necessarily the most valuable. Who was the most valuable? I don't follow the league close enough to give you an answer.

Good for Peyton! I wish all pro athletes would try to emulate the class this guy shows both on and off the field.

Well I never said the guy was perfect. Besides, wasnt the kid wide open, and not even looking back for the pass? A public flogging was actually in order. Peyton went easy on him. :D

for those of you who are wondering where Chris Johnson is, let me give you my explanation. Whereas CJ probably was the greatest running back in the game this season and mayb the greatest player this season, he is not even the most valuable player to his team. CJ started on the Titans for all 16 games and was 0-6 for the first 6, the Titans finally began to roll with VY as quarterback and he was the most valuable player on the Titans this year

Exactly.

If what you provide the team turns into a win than that alone makes you valuable.

What Chris was doing is incredible, but it wasn't giving them wins.

What VY did was shortly around average, but it was giving them wins.

What Manning did this year was brilliant, and thus why he is #1 in the poll.
