Snead takes a lick
UM quarterback Jevan Snead took a vicious (but legal) hit during the second quarter after throwing his second interception of the game.

He was trying to make the tackle when he was blindsided by OSU safety Markelle Martin.

Snead was hit so hard his helmet flew off and he appeared to briefly lose consciousness.

"It was one of those situations you dream about," Martin said. "I didn't even know it was the quarterback. I just hit him with everything I had."

Though Snead did not have a good day, throwing three interceptions in the first half, he showed plenty of toughness coming back into the game later in the second quarter.

"I had a little headache, but I wanted to play," Snead said. "The doctors said I was fine as far as no concussion. I just got my bell rung."

ROFLMAO ... "I just got my bell rung." Isn't that the layman's term for a concussion?

He must have been put in a dark closet at halftime and told to reach down and check and see if he has a set ... which im just guessing here ... he actually did

That looks like almost every Celina football game on Celina punt returns. Their peel back blocking is murder!

WOW! He said it, that is the kind of oppurtunity EVERY defensive player loves to get, a big time (legal) shot at the QB

Its still football. Dont go for the tackle if you dont wanna get hit. My favorite hit on a QB after a pick ever was this one.

Why is every one so sensative about concussions? They happen and are difficult to prevent. I think he should be allowed to play if he wants to. He is only doing harm to his body, but let him choose to do if he wants.

Thanks alot Bin Laden

That one is on the receiver who let the ball go through his hands.

Damn he's tough,

I hope he get's drafted...you know the NFL would love train a guy like that up.

Besides he never got "his" chance in my opinion.
