Snead takes a lick
UM quarterback Jevan Snead took a vicious (but legal) hit during the second quarter after throwing his second interception of the game.
He was trying to make the tackle when he was blindsided by OSU safety Markelle Martin.
Snead was hit so hard his helmet flew off and he appeared to briefly lose consciousness.
"It was one of those situations you dream about," Martin said. "I didn't even know it was the quarterback. I just hit him with everything I had."
Though Snead did not have a good day, throwing three interceptions in the first half, he showed plenty of toughness coming back into the game later in the second quarter.
"I had a little headache, but I wanted to play," Snead said. "The doctors said I was fine as far as no concussion. I just got my bell rung."
-----------------------------------
ROFLMAO ... "I just got my bell rung." Isn't that the layman's term for a concussion?
