Heard they are interviewing this week, 5-6 candidates. Somenames being thrown around on TheOldCoach are Lock, McAngus, and an out-of-state coach with strong Texas ties. Anybody heard anything else?

Ricky Lock, Leonard McAngus and Danny Malone (formally of Leander, PNG, and Tyler-Chapel Hill) are three of the six candidates according to the TheOldCoach site.

Interviews start tomorrow.

I might have my names mixed up - but didn't Lock and McAngus preciously coach at Gonzales?

Whoever get's it will have their work cut out for them, Freshmen and JV teams were not very good at all.

Yes, both were formal HC there.

6 went in today to a 12 person committee, 3 go back to interview in front of the school board.

Danny Malone is one of the three final candidates.

Not yet. If I hear I will post. The word is that all three will interview with the board this afternoon.

Heard the other two were Lock and McAngus---but, was trying to confirm it with what maybe you heard.
