Who was trotted out and worshipped as an All-American before that game in Celina..he played for Celina....? I could have sworn it was a James Kid.

No James kid that year. I remember the weather got bad around halftime. But don't remember any worship. Maybe Anthony Lynn was recognized before the game or something.

Either way, congrats to PP on state this year.

Did you ask G.A., ppsb? After all--he had kids in both places at one time or another....:D

1995 the weather got bad...that was a 13-9 ball game .....1998 the tight end had to fumbles and helped PP to a 24-13 win..Who was the tight end on that team? 1998 or punter even..that was the all american.

Okay so what year did this lazy James boy that caused all the trouble graduate from C-town?

I think your Talking about Frank Maddux. He was a great tight end who wentt to Arizona St. and was a senior that year I think

Adam graduated after the 2006 season. His brother Andy graduated after the 2008 season

The 95 game was a washout. I believe that game was saved when Gary Don tossed a last second shuttle to Martin or Worthey or somebody. That play probably saved the game.

98 was bad weather too. My son was a senior that year along with the TE Maddox. I believe Frank lost his dad right around that time too.

Yep, that was Frank Maddox

I believe his father died earlier that week? or maybe just earlier that season.

The '95 PP game was my very first Bobcat game after moving to Celina, and it was a doozy! Of course, i remember the '98 game even better, since it was easy to remember for the next four years and is now the first piece of a famous stat.

Maddox was good enough to be a state champion TE; that's enough for me
