Is it better to be an 11-5 team that has to win their last 3 games of the year to make the playoffs or be 13-3 or 14-2 and lose your last 2 games and all the momentum created earlier in the season? Does winning your last 3 help you build enough momentum to give you the same chances as the 13-3 team with no momentum that lost the last 2 or 3 games?
The reason I asked is because the Colts lost for the first time all season and the players look as defeated as a team could look, and the Vikings have lost 3 of 4 and are playing terrible right now. The Saints havent recovered from the Dallas loss and have played bad since the Washington game. Then you have teams like the Cowboys, Eagles, and Cardinals who are playing at a high level and have a good chance to make some noise in the post season. Just my thought on the situation
