As of this posting, all current 3A team histories from Regions I, II and III are updated through 2009 and extend back at least to 1980.
I'm not sure what happened in 1984. Taylor lost to Westlake initially, but Westlake forfeited that game. For some reason the two played a 2nd time at the end of district, BEFORE the Zone playoffs. Taylor won that game and advanced to Zone while Westlake missed the playoffs alltogether.
Taylor is one of the few teams that has been aligned to ALL 4 regions by the UIL and advanced to the playoffs in ALL 4 (in just an 11 year period as well). 1984 - Region II, 1986 - Region III, 1988 - Region I, 1994 - Region IV
