Feel free to include HS, college, and pro accomplishments, though the fact that they excelled in the pros doesn't necessarily trump what they did in HS or college (ex: Ty Detmer belongs in the discussion).

Also, it's players that hail from the state, not move-ins. Ricky Williams, though one of the greatest college players of all-time, is a California boy.

Some of my thoughts off the cuff. Not a lot of thought went into these
QB: Sammy Baugh.... 2nd Team Kenneth Hall (would've been first team if he would've done much in college or the pros)
RB: Earl Campbell.... Adrian Peterson (could pass one of the first-teamers before it's all said and done)

I got to hear Bob Lilly speak at a fishing tournament back in the late 90's, plus he fished and hung out with everyone the whole day, very down to earth, great speaker, plus told some great stories, Randy White was there 2 and to hear them both talk, amazing, in their stories and comments , the one thing they both agreed on is that, the game today, is much faster, and much stronger, due to differant training techniques, and nutrition, from when the kids begin playing, plus the money is alot better, imagine that, neither one would consider themselves the best, alittle modesty, there I would think.....
