If Graham makes the adjustments they made at halftime against us, this game could belong to Graham... Your offense did pretty much anything they wanted in the 2nd half against us. What scares me about this game is Graham not taking the points again in the 1st half... had they kicked against us they would have won the Brownwood game

I just got back from the game. Congrats to Graham for giving the Bulldawgs all they could handle. That was a awesome game and it makes the victory just a little sweeter. What hurts most is that both of those loses happened on a blocked extra point, one at the end of the game, the other on the first touchdown. Then pressured to go for 2 and win it all. I feel sorry for Baker though, he knows that we lost 2 games by 2 of his blocked field goals. The kids got no confidence. Hopefully he'll have a good offseason and get his timing right to have a great senior year. Maybe the new coach will have a little more confidence in him. He knew it, and it showed that McCoy had no trust in him at all.

Congrats to Carthage. Good team..Graham gave them all they could handle. They had better be happy that Grahams kicking game is off...it cost Graham a championship.

But the story of the night on both sides of the ball was defense. Graham had the ball inside the Carthage 10 yard line 3 times and were held. Carthage had the ball inside the Graham 10 several times and Graham held. Both teams had good d's.

Thank you Graham for playing with so much class this season! I am so proud to be called a GRAHAM STEER!

By the way, there must have been at least 5000 people from Graham there. Our croud was HUGE. All in all I would think 7000-8000 total for both teams.

Wow...Carthage is all they said they were...and a bit more. I know this wont help the fans, but Graham is also all they said they were (but i already knew that). What a game! Congrats to Carthage...the best team in 3AII.

By the way, East Texas is on top for now...it was just a few short years ago that Central Texas was #1...and we will be again!!!!LOL

This score on this game could have been different if:
A) Graham had a kicker
B) Carthage could run between the tackles

Carthage, as big as their O-Line was, couldn't run between the tackles. Amazed at how good Graham's defense was when Carthage tried to run between the tackles. When they stretched it out on the edges they were much more effective.
I think Carthage could have won by 2 or 3 TD's if they could have been more effective in this phase of the game.

Morgan was 13 of 24 for 212 yards. But he had two interceptions both in the red zone.

Congrats to Carthage you deserve your win. Congrats to Graham you deserve your accomplishments this year too.

IMO everybody wanted Graham to go for two, Carthage D and Graham D stepped up when they had to. Carthage had the big play ability and Graham did not. Graham is not a grind it out kind of team and when they could not bust the big passes they were getting frustrated.

No regrets here for either team Graham stepped up and played jam up....as for the kicker goes who cares the rest of the team had 4 quarters to put the game away.

I'm surprised to hear everyone from Carthage saying Graham did so well. Most of my family went to the game, but I was unable to attend. (We're all from Graham)

I heard from them that while overall the Steers played well, it definitely wasn't the best they've seen them play and that Case played particularly poorly in comparison to the rest of his performances.

I heard Carthage was a great team and that all the fans got to watch a great game. Wish I could have been there!

Very well put. This was a very hard fought game. lots of emothion for graham and im sure the same for carthage. Great season to both the players and coaches on both teams.
