I would guess because most people would associate a more liberal or progressive family to try other methods of control rather than spanking. I'm sure that most of us that frequent this site would have been snatched up and dealt with.

I guess the more liberal approach would have been for the commercial to be sponsered by planned parenthood rather than condoms.;)
