Think the folks at Baylor may argue with this?

Thanks to Barry Green in his "Liberally Lean In the Land Of Dairy Queen" blog for pointing this out.

How can they set up games so late to toughen up their schedule but Texas can't?

Texas could...but why would they? Go undefeated and win your conference, and it doesn't matter if you played all Division II schools in the nonconference portion.

TCU is going to be bidding for a shot at the NC again next year, and they're going to need a tougher strength-of-schedule than they had this year as evidenced by being passed by Cincinnati.

been talk about this on the baylor board since a story came up about it on espn or si.com or somewhere like that a couple days ago...i think in order for this to happen TCU has to find us a replacement game or figure out a way to move the schedule around where we still play them later in the year....of course there is always the chance they could buy it out but i'd guess baylor would want a pretty hefty sum of money since it would be happening so late....

we should be better next year barring an injury plagued season like this year....
