Godfrey is the biggest stud QB I have seen in Texas football. Recruiters better wake up and not lose this kid, he is awesome! Not slamming Wylie, but they were taken out of their gameplan in the 1st Qtr. Complete domination, and Wylie is not a bad football team, just not prepared for Godfrey, as many have not been. Congrats on a fine SC, line em up and let's start all over.....

One thing i can say is that the AW fans are some great people. We parked on the Home side and had to walk in and out of the game that way and everyone we meet were very nice and happy people. Good class of People

Considering our enrollment on the "snapshot" day this year was actually a bit lower than the last realignment, unless the 3A cutoff # goes down, I would say we will still be in 3A.

Don't know what posts you were reading but I didn't see any that didn't give the Gobblers "respect". The boys from Cuero played a hell of a game against us and that game could have easily gone their way. They were the best team by far that the Buckeyes played this year followed by Navasota. As for speaking out of both sides of the mouth -- State Champs sounds the same coming from either side.

I hate that song, too. Unfortunately our band does it too. I was hoping maybe they would get a feel of what it's like being on the receiving end of it when Gilmer played it for us last week.
