Cuero has been Region IV champ 11 out of the last 25 years. I don't see anyone else with that level of success. A lot of teams have streaks but either move up, move down, or move on.

Region III is 8-0 against Region IV over the past 4 years though...

Cuero went 6-5 against Region III during that 25 year run with a 4 game losing streak going currently.

I still love the Gobblers though! :)

I hadn't updated a few of these in a couple of years so you guys are the first to see the new ones. It's interesting how each classification has a definite difference in which region(s) has/have been dominating as of late.

5A - Region I hands down recently
4A - Region IV recently mostly due to Lake Travis but before that it was all Regions II and III
3A - Regions II and III recently
2A - Region III hands down recently
1A - whereas it was all about Region IV in the '90's this is the ONLY classification that has shown some parity between all Regions statewide for the past decade (all four regions have either 3 or 4 titles in the past 10 years)
