They fumbled when they were about to score. Then fumbled where the Steers only had to go 20 yards. That's a 14 point swing right there:doh:

What about Grahams fumble on the punt that gave the ball to pitt on the 6 yard line? Don't start that pitt had a few more mistakes and it cost them they are lucky Graham had the turnovers they had and 5 dropped passes 2 for TDs from what I saw pitt is lucky they didn't get embarrassed, and all that speed they had ya well its hard to use when you have no where to go. I thought pitt had a very talented team don't get me wrong but the bettert team won hands down.

A fumble is an individual mistake. Not protecting the ball is the same as not catching a punt. Fumbling in the red-zone is the same thing as throwing a pic. They're both mistakes and they're both turnovers. Just like Graham popped the ball loose, Pitt changed the defense up and confused Case. Mistakes are mistakes homie. Pitt could have fumbled every time they touched the ball and Case could have thrown every pass to the other team tonight, no one was making them do things right. But bottom line is, Graham did something right that got them the win and that is all that matters! Who gives a damn about the rest.

Matthew328 just pointed out the teams' mistakes. He gave as an objective a view on turnovers as any I have seen here!

It's funny, he realizes that turnovers hurt his team but doesn't acknowledge that maybe they hurt his opponent as well.

In my opinion the turnovers ended up evening out even though Grahams were more self inflicted. However, Pitt got luck on a few calls. One in particular the QB threw the ball behind the line of scrimmage while being wrapped up and the Graham kid picks it up and is off to the races. It was VERY CLEAR that this was a fumble, but I think an inadvertent whistle saved them. Regardless it was nice to see that Graham had the "Athletes" that those east Texas teams haven’t seen up until this point to overcome adversity :p

#1TEXAN actually it was a fumbled punt not a fumbled kickoff that set up the Pitt TD...my fault. Pitt made a few more mistakes for sure, hard to say the better team won. I thought they were fairly evenly matched.

I think Carthage if their head is screwed on right handles Graham however

Great ballgame. I think Graham played better and deserved the win. Haven't gone back through and looked at all the posts so I don't know what if anything has already been said about the officiating, but it was horrendous -- and most of the bonehead calls went against Pitt. Graham was fortunate to come out with the W.
I've seen Graham play and Carthage play this year. I have not seen LaGrange so don't know what they have. But if Carthage can get by LaGrange tonight, I predict Carthage will roll over Graham.

I think Graham's difference was their quickness on the DL....Grahams DL out quicked a slow Pitt OL and shut down the Pitt running game. The difference for next week is that Carthage iis quicker AND much much bigger.

Or how about the holding by the Pitt OL on DL.....Or holding of the Graham Receivers ALL NIGHT LONG! Or the first O play by PItt was O interference......OH NO the officiating was the worst I have seen in a Playoff game! :hand: BUT there were enough missed and bad calls to go around:hand: :mad:
