2009 Week 5 School's Left Map

So I was a little curious regarding geograpical locations within the state of the remaining teams and wanted to map all the schools out...this is the 5A through 6 man schools plotted on a google map...

People always want to compare metroplex to Houston etc...
I seemost school within 30 miles of I-20, I-35 or I -10

This year it is really fairly even from all areas...ET, DFW, HOUSTON, Big Country, and HILL COUNTRY all are well represented...even the panhandle is well represented considering how sparse population is out there.

Houston area outside of Katy in recent years has not done nearly as well as DFW...Since 2003 when Galena Park NS won, Lamar Consolidated and LaMarque are the only teams from the Houston area to win a state championship.

This year Houston area has a great opportunity to make a good showing.
