You traded any posts with IHStangFan? He just got back from Iraq. Don't know if he was military or a contractor.

speaking of records - I found this article on Kenny Hall aka Sugarland Express. OMG - amazing...

the below is taken from a Sports Illustrated article...

Playing tailback in the single wing, Kenneth Hall, rushed for a career 11,232 yards. In most yards rushing in a single season. Hall is first with 4,045 in 1953. He is also second with 3,458 in 1952. In his four-year career, Hall scored 899 points. In total career offense, Hall accounted for 14,558 yards.

In addition, according to the Kansas City-based National Federation of State High School Associations, Hall holds national records for most points in a season (395),
most touchdowns in a season (57) and in a career (127),
total offense in a season (5,146 yards),
most 100-yard games in a career (38),
most consecutive 100-yard games (21),
most average-yards-rushing per game in a season (337.1) and most total offense per game for a season (428.8). Says Hall, 'it was the winning that was fun, not the statistics."

WOW - that is amazing.

Trent Jackson of Cuero, ended his sophomore season with 2526 yards (combined with 1423 during his Freshman year - missed several games with an injury) for a total of 3949 yards.. 51 yards shy of 4000 :) Fingers and toes crossed he is able to continue with his success!
:) :)

Even more mind-numbing is that as good as Jackson was as a fresh and sophomore, he'd need to average over 3,500 yards in each of the next two years to have a shot at Hall's record.

State or School? Anything worth mentioning really. We know Graham has gone farther this year in the playoffs than ever before. And we know that Gilmer sucks worse that ever before :D

I think Sinton's QB holds a few school records for passing. Probably be a while before they are broken too, unless they gotanother good one waitin in the wings.

Didn't Sinton's Flores from the 80's set the state record for passing around 82' or '83?

Those were school records. Nate Valdez from the Valley (Mission?) holds state and national records. I think Harrison owns all the school records now.

we had more losses this year than any season since the early eighties( in 1982 we were 2-8 i think)
