Is it weird to anyone else that half the First Team is from a small 1A/2A town out in the middle of nowhere?

East Bernard had at least two girls who should have gotten recognition. They wont state twice of three in a row 1974-79- 88-90 and had some great players.

im going to go out on limb here and say that catchings and gilleningham...will probably be on an all century b-ball team.


i'm supprised there are arent' more from amarillo, wimberley and westlake...those schools are powerhouses....but what do i know about volleyball.

Yeah, they're like the Wimberley or Bellville of 1A.

On a side note, one of the prettiest towns in Texas. That whole area is picturesque.

A little ways outside of Brenham going towards Austin. I used to drive through there going home (to the Corpus area) from College Station.
