I would go with Gainsville, Jasper, and last but not least the Sinton Pirates. You can do alot when you got the whole offense coming back and 6 defensive players returning.

Sinton my pre-season #1

I'll go with Gainesville for #1. :) They are the defending state champion and are No. 1 until someone takes it away from them on the field. How's that Keith7? :D

They are the number two school size wise in their district, and I think the number one sized team has the very real possibility of finishing at least third in the district. Now Jasper may make a bit of noise in Div II. :)

I think Jasper goes D2 this time.

Monahans Loboes, they will shock some peopleMonahans is going to have a tough road in Region 1 with both Abilene Wylie and Gainesville. But who knows, Monahans is known for winning the games no one says they can.

Still don't know a lot about 3A but I think WO-S will be a factor in Region 3.

D1 - Jasper, WO-S, Gainesville, or Sinton
D2 - Marlin, RC, or Bellville(Gotta have them in the mix)

WOS is bigger than Silsbee but it doesn't matter since they are in different districts.

Cuero has been killing everyone down here in South Texas at the middle school, freshmen, and JV levels for about the last 3 years. They have a dynasty brewing right around the corner.

Everybody makin a big deal about Sinton, but they got beat pretty soundly by Cuero last year.I can see Sinton and Cuero playin 2 games this year.Non-district and R4 D1 finals.Unless Gonzalez makes the play-offs.Could be a strong year in region 4 again.

Palestine?? I just can't see that happening, even with a lot of returning starters they still won't be very good. jmo

The drop is gonna help them out a LOT...plus Div 1 Region 3 doesn't look too strong other than WOS

i have to think that Sintons road in the playoffs will be good for them til round 3... when they head north to the top half of the region.. thats when everything will get interesting. IMHO

BigChief - Are you guys gunna get in the playoffs this year? I think Edner just made this district a helluva lot tougher... IF you guys make it and we do, we'll be D2... Tough teams in both brackets, kinda like pickin' your own poison...
