I dont get it.

Why is watching a very classy individual that fell short of his goals funny?

I've never been on the Tim Tebow bandwagon, but I know this, the world would be a lot better place if we had a bunch more just like him.

I'm cold hearted and I love seeing people cry. I think I have once stated on the board that I wanted to start a show entitled "Kids Crying", a show about watching people cry in different situations

Yeah...I have to agree w/ ole RED. I am quite tired of all of the Tebow hype....but he DOES seem to be a great kid, and stand-up guy. So no...I don't find it funny.

It's not HIS fault the media needs a hero and likes to go a little over the top w/ the coverage/hype.

I have to agree with IHS and Red...Tebow seems to be a great dude. I have never enjoyed watching the media adore him. But seeing his personal success makes me happy that a top-tier athlete can still also be a top-tier human being. As much as I hate Florida I find it hard to root against Tim Tebow. I encourage any of you to find a better role model for kids across America that has such a spotlight. I hope there is a Tebow around when I have a son that he can see dominate on an athletic field and then handle himself with grace and class and continue preaching a good message.
