Punters as holders

why? it makes no sense....why not have an athletic guy like texas does in jordan shipley as the holder who can make an athletic play on a botched snap or a fake

Punters are use to catching snaps from the long snapper when they are punting and its easier to practice it with the punter as the holder because he is already there with the special teams practicing and you don't have to get a player out of offensive or defensive practice to do it thats also why backup Qbs do it.
