Congrats to Lucas Lovejoy on a great season. You gave Wylie all it could handle and your team has nothing to be ashamed of. Getting to this game was such a huge accomplishment for such a young program.
The Leopards had a lot of talent and presented a huge challenge for the Bulldogs. Wylie will be much better off against Gilmer after meeting the challenge that Lucas Lovejoy presented.
Kudos to Coach Sandifer for the gutsy play calling on the final drive, and for not taking a timeout after the big play to the 6 yard line to deprive LL of any extra seconds.
And, congrats to the Wylie Bulldogs for keeping their heads together and pulling out a great win over a very tough opponent. I am very anxious to see what transpires next week. Go Dawgs!
