Let me say that this years team has been one of the best to follow ever. They define the words/phrases "Perseverance" and "Indomitable Spirit". To follow a team that never gives up is a wonderful joy to me personally that I am sure is shared by the whole community. You young men played in a way that will be looked up to by future Pirates and again makes us proud to support you.
I hope you Seniors succeed in all your future endeavors. :)
You Juniors, Sophomores and Freshmen do your best and come back stronger next year.
We are proud of each and every one of you.
Congratulations on providing us fans a great season of memories!

Helluva run this year...especially when you consider that they were 1-9 two years ago.

They definitely played by the moto that it ain't over til the final buzzer sounds!!!! The Pirates were in every game this year, no matter the score or how much time was left in the game!! Congrats Pirates and hold your head up high!! You are winners in my book!!

I have to say "Way to go Pirates!". To go from 1-9 two years ago to where you are today is phenomenal. Lots of hard work obviously. Enjoy it for a few days then back to work.

You made 31-3A look good, Pirates. It was a hell of a run. I was hoping that it would last a couple more weeks ;), but it's been an amazing season and I couldn't ask for anything more.

Ingleside/Sinton for the district title and at least a trip to the Quarterfinals? Let's make it an annual thing.

Yes very well done by the Piratesa and Ingleside. And don't forget Mathis had a great season too and Robstown barely missed the playoffs. Aransas Pass was improved this year and Orange Grove and West Oso also might have advanced in the playoffs in another district. Also Falfurrias is also dangerous.

Sinton Pirates, you got thumped by Ingleside!! ….. and if Ingleside had gone to the Division II bracket they would still be playing.

Now Stew, since you brought up THUMPINGS -

56-17 and
47-28

NOW that's a thumping...

35-28 - that's a close game that could go either way.. Get real. Maybe you'll go Div 2 next year :D

I will agree that Ingleside got dominated by Cuero, but Ingleside dominated Sinton, the game could not have gone either way, it was not that close. Ingleside clearly had a much better line, much better athletes, and an overall far better team.

Yes, Ingleside was up 21-0 at one point, but our boys NEVER GAVE UP and probably made your butt clench up a time or two in the game. That game is LONG over. Both teams represented their communities with pride, too bad you can't do the same.

last two years, a 23-3 record with all 3 losses by 7 points, It has been great to follow this group of players as they represented what a team can accomplish when they have a never quit attitude and determine to win the game.

Only if Robstown makes the playoffs.

I also think Carson's injury affected the Pirates more than most realize in THAT game. However, Ingleside fans need to realize he'll be back next year and might be looking for some revenge!:D

Looks like the Pirates are definitely back and look to stay a while longer as a playoff contender---good to see and I am happy for all you Sinton folks. Now, if we can just get your coach to play Celina or Brownwood in pre-district next season....:D
