Hope your right, but I dont see Texas blowing them out. The Nebraska D is very stout. Not nearly enough O against the Texas D though.

this one could be very close. Nebraska has a great defense and will hold texas to less than 24 points and could pull an upset off. I picked texas but they will not beat the pointspread.

yep they do..but just like they did agianst Colorado where out of 217 yards of offense 150 was on the ground...hence saying they like to grind down the clock and play possesion football

They did the same thing agianst VTech when they rushed for over 200 yards as well. Iam not saying they are a great offense..I only think they will score about 10 points..but I do think they will keep the ball enough that it limits Texas's possesions

Yeah you're right, Tx is in just so much trouble:rolleyes:

Returning the entire secondary and every linebacker doesn't help Tx at all:rolleyes:

And replacing Colt with Garret Gilbert is just horrible for Tx:rolleyes:

And returning 5 out of the 6 Wide receivers and every running back is not a good thing either:rolleyes:

ECU is a good team and our defense wasn't ready for them. Of their four losses, 2 were to teams that were Top 25 at the time, 1 was to a team that is currently top 25, and the other was a narrow loss to SMU.

UTEP is another story. =/

He is rattled though because he has 2 seconds every time he drops back. That's why I like the fade idea because it doesn't require a lot of protection time and it's a deadly weapon.

My thoughts exactly. I figured Tx would throw a ton of fades with Colt to fluff his stats up after a weak first half but I guess not.

You need to invest in some glasses or something the ball hit the ground with 1 second on the clock that means the clock stops with 1 second. Your grasping for something to wine about because once again you were rooting for the losing team.

The way a horse collar works in college and high school, not the NFL, is the ref is supposed to look for 2 things. First, the grab on the back of the ball carrier's pads, and second, a buckling of the knees. Go back and watch the replay, Shipley's knees never buckled. What's more, is that the flag didn't come from the line judge who was right on top of the play, but from the ref. behind the LOS. Now, by rule, you are supposed to allow for human error on the clock timing as well, but after a 30 second review they decided that that didn't matter either. Call it what you will, but if you can manage to take off the burnt orange sunglasses, those 2 were big game changers if you ask me.

The big game changer was Nebraska kicking the ball out of bounds. How does a coach allow that? Thats the last thing you do in that situation. That is what lost the game for Nebraska. Just kick the damn ball. Why get fancy and cute with it?
