Basketball game game because wet floor

Was covering basketball game between Wharton and Bay City in Bay City

It was raining and had been most of the day roof was leaking and got on the floor so they called in the game in the 2nd quarter

For some reason two coaches from Corpus Christi drove all the way to scout the game since Wharton will be in their 32 team tournament this weekend

Took me almost an hour to drive home with the rain coming down hard between Wharton and Bay City.

They 've been dealing w hith this leaking roof problem for months and havent fixed it

Guess this will be a problem on nights with basketball games

I once saw a J.V. game delayed 10 minutes because a kid was throwing tic tacs onto the court during it and nobody noticed until there were about 100 on the floor and everytime they'd start to play again they'd find another patch to sweep up.. Funny thing is that to this day, they still havent found the guy who did it..:devil:
