I think I've only seen this one time before in any other history... Burk played Wichita Falls Hirschi in a non-district game the final week of the regular season in 1985 and then had to play them AGAIN in a Zone playoff game the very next week.
What would be the strategy in that first game, knowing you had to play the very same team for all the marbles the next week? Field your JV?
