UPDATE: I've finally gotten back to updating my histories after an absence of several months. I'm starting with District 1 and will be progressing through slowly but surely.

I've extended the Borger history back to the very beginning.

Borger played in the largest existing classification in the UIL longer than any other current 3A program (from 1932 through 1975). They dropped down to the 2nd largest class from 1976-2001 and joined the 3rd largest classification in 2002.

Borger is the ONLY current 3A school to have played for a largest classification UIL Football State Championship (back in 1962).

According to my records they will be going for all-time win #400 in the first game of 2011.
