I'm hearing Plano next week against the Prosper/Lucas Lovejoy winner. That'll be a 3+ hour drive for Wylie and a 30 minute or less drive for either of them.:doh:

I was hoping for Mineral Wells or Aledo. At least make them drive an hour + to get to the game.

I was at the game standing on the sidelines the entire game. I thought Wylie offense look good today. Still not great.

I am interested in seeing how many yards they gave up to Burkburnett on the ground. I wouldn't doubt if it was close to 400 yards... Look like they were running all over them today.

I agree! Wylie's offense was not as crisp tonight, but still hung 39 with missed FGs and extra points. I don't know what Burk's rushing total was. It might have been close to 400 since that's all they did was run the ball. Wylie won handily and didn't play their best. Burk had a heck of a team that played hard and didn't quit. Hats off to them for a great season. See you Bulldog fans next week.

wylie played quite a few players, was not our best night ... they were a good running team, every single play.

Burkburnett had 330 yards rushing on 50 carries and no passing yards (0-10 passing). Overall the offense played better than the defense, the the defense did it's job when it needed to be good with two key interceptions. (One at the goal line on the first frive and another in the 2nd qtr). I would give the offense an A- (two TD called back because of holding, a blocked XP and a missed FG). The defense I would give a B, not their best game, but we are still playing.

I know someone posted that they thought next weeks game might be in Plano, only thing I would guess is that Wylie wants to play on Friday night and gave up location??? Just speculation???

Good Job Wylie Fan. I am not sure why they would play in plano, but your comment does make sense. Thanks for the rushing total on burkburnett. They were a good running team. We had a hard time stopping them.

I agree with your grades on offense and defense. I think we were in control of the entire game. We went up 22-0 at beginning of 3rd qrt. They just kept coming and didn't give up. Hats off to Burk for the never quit mentality.

I hope we NEVER see the saginaw stadium again. The most rude people work there, only one men bathroom (took the whole half time to wait in line to go to the bathroom), concession line was even longer, and they were already out of everything, parking lot to small, and everyone (home & visitors) in and out of stadium parking at the same place. I could not believe we were playing there when I first heard it. This is the playoff's , give us a big time stadium to play at.

I agree. The staff that we encountered were definitely less than pleasant and they did run out of practically everything in the concession stand by half time. In their defense, they told us at halftime that they would have popcorn in no less than 45 minutes to an hour. :rolleyes: LOL I would say they were not at all prepared.

A concession 'lady' evidently got tired of telling people there was no hot chocolate and yelled it out to the crowd....I SAID THERE IS NO MORE HOT CHOCOLATE, NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES YOU ASK!!!

some dude in the crowd yelled back, 'Well that does it, I'm leaving and going to eat at a nice restaurant...oh wait, yall dont have any of those here either, do you?' Best line of the night....
