Were you hoping Texas would lose last night so TCU could play for the title?

Pest it's better this way. There's a good chance there will be 3 undefeated teams not playing for the national championship this year

Even had Texas lost, good chance Cinci leapfrogs em if they win next week against Pitt.

you know i really wouldnt doubt that just because they are in better conference. That would have been horrible.

West Virginia just upset Pitt so a Cinci win over Pitt next week won't be quite as impressive.

I can't wait to see how the bcs talks its way out of denying 3 undefeated teams a chance to prove their worth. big east champ plays acc champ and most likely tcu will play sec loser so none of them will play each other. lots of what ifs after this season if all 3 win their bowl games.

Pitt's loss tonight hurts Cinn. no doubt, but just having one more game is a scheduling advantage. Not to mention TCU is finishing by playing a terrible team.

Then they better beat the HEII out of whom ever they are playing.
They can't win by only 2 TD's if they don't want to get jumped..

Sadly, I doubt any scenario would have let that happen. I think the pollsters would have made sure of it. Just another of many reason the BCS is the stupidest system ever conceived, or should I say contrived.
