We need Alabama to lose and the Gators to lose, with Texas and TCU winning out to get a Texas-TCU national title game!:D

Auburn D doing a good job keeping Mark Ingram in check so far. Good news for Colt and the heisman race, especially with Colt's big day yesterday.

5 plays in a minute and a half. Pitiful clock managemnt for sure. They should have easily gotten 2 or 3 more.

I agree that was poor clock management. When time is short like that those 6 yard passes don't do any good at all except make you use timeouts and eat up the clock.

I agree. They went from a pro style offense to a hurry-up spread and forgot how to get plays off quick.

Chris Todd's been OK this year, but not the kind of QB who can win a game by himself. That was awful.

Russ,

Was going to call. Just not real happy with the results. I agree here. That was terrible clock management and play calling at the end. We played right into their hands and Bama made us look like fools. Once they got in FG range, we have to save every tick.

I cant even talk about the play calling on the last drive. I love my Tigers, and always will. This one is going to sting for a little while.

On a positive note, I think we are headed in the right direction. Auburn did better than I thought they would this year. It won't be long before they return to making some serious noise! WAR EAGLE!!

Im setting here watching Kansas make even worse play calling and worse clock managment at the end than Auburn did. And it just got their butts beat as well. Wow. Sometimes makes me wonder if stupid is contagious.

Yeah, we were thin this year at all the key positions, especially offensive skill kids. We have a big time RB coming in, a few big wideouts, and will have some of those youngsters this year in the fold.

On another note, I'm kinda worried/kinda excited about next year's QB prospects. Kodi Burns will still be on campus (though he'll probably be mostly a wildcat QB), former superprep Neil Caudle will compete for PT, and freshman/Texas boy Tyrik Rollison looks like he'll be in the thick of things. From what I read online, sounds like Rollison's the total package and would be perfect for our offense.

For now, I guess we'll just lick our wounds and wait for the bowl game.
