My Mom was telling me about the score the other day. Last week was 97-86. The news guys' comment was "How would you like to be from Guthrie when someone ask how the game turned out? 'We played great - scored 90 points.....and got beat by 4 td's'."

If you've never seen a six man game, they are almost ALL offense. Very high scores are quite normal because they usually are not much more than track meets with a football tossed in. You can almost imagine the spectators' heads going left and right like at a tennis match.:D

Six man looks like a game of smear the queer with referees.

I was trying to resist the urge to play "spell checker" for the DownLow but with you urging I have to agree. For future reference it is 'offense' and 'defense'.

That may be why he didn't understand, nothing like it in Rugby.

There is very little defense in 6 man football....you rarely see a shutout. Whichever team scores every time they have possession (and no turnovers) wins the game.

what makes you think he has bad teeth....just because he can't spell offense and defense?

 I've been watching 6 man since the 70s, and have seen many scores just like that, especially in the playoffs. Not so much in the regular season, when the really good teams usually run rule their opponents by half time. But have seen it in the playoffs many times.

If you've played against them, you should know it's Motley County not Montley, and I lived in West Texas for 10 years and saw scores like that almost every week (and particularily in the playoffs). Did you play longer than that?

Heck, he's darn near old as you. :D ;) (Point is, he was playing them "back in the day".)
