Just a little heads up folks. Cary Clawson of Meridian Texas passed away last Thursday morning. Cary died after fighting colon cancer for three years.

Cary painted murals on the walls and gym floors of over 250 schools in the southwest. He painted murals at Kerrville, Burnet and Liberty Hill along with many others. As I recall one of the Liberty Hills ladies used his panther mural on her message area at one time (maybe you recall) . One of his most well liked murals was of your mascot breaking thru the gym wall or floor. Cary also did oil painting, etching and sculptures.

He was a dear friend and his talent will be difficult to replace.

Sad news - prayers to his family and friends. :(

I'm looking to see if I have a picture of ours to add to this.

When I was in school I had lunch with him while he was working on our mural for our basketball gym. Very nice man, his work will be missed.
