We've had a rough year but it seems to be we are peaking at the right time. We beat 10-1 Lake Dallas on Friday night 21-16 to improve to 10-2...this week we take on Big Spring Sat 3pm at Mineral Wells

Big Spring by 21.....:D because I know you are going to say Graham by 21 over my Bulls---you just can't break the habit. :D

There may still be hope for you yet, Matthew---but you have still got it wrong. Seriously---good luck to Everman on that tough playoff road.

Boy, tough end to the year for Lake Dallas. They lost two games all year to very good teams, both of which came down to them not holding onto the ball.

The hex that Everman has had over Lake Dallas since the 3A days in the late 90s to early 00s lives on!

Everman was just as guilty with turnovers....four in the first half

must be nice to call 10-2 and a trip to the 3rd round a "rough" year....

Gotta root for Big Spring in this one... used to live there and have a lot of friends there. Plus Everman destoyed them in the playoffs last year... Go Steers!

last year was 55-15 and could have easily been worse if Everman wanted. It'll be a barn burner this year

Are you mixing up Big Spring and Denison?

Mixing up? Aren't they the same? I mean, didn't you tell me both were no good?

I plan on being in Aledo Friday morning for Abilene High/Cedar Hill
and Graham/Bridgeport. I am going to get a hotel room in either
Aledo or Mineral Wells after the Graham game and then watch
Big Spring/Everman Saturday afternoon.

If anybody knows where I could get a nice room, good food and
somewhere to kill some time please let me know.

Also, I would like to know what time the gates open for Abilene/Cedar Hill and Big Spring/Everman.

They both suck, but for completely different reasons.

Seriously? Well hell! I guess I don't have to leave Sweetwater as
early as I thought.

Steers in a close one.

Aledo doesn't have any hotels, I think there's one in Willow Park. You could stay in Weatherford which is about 25 miles east of Mineral Wells....I highly recommend eating at Montana's. It's a bigger town so more dining options anyway. Weatherford has On the Border, Logans Roadhouse, Bakers Ribs and a few other good spots.

Birdville is further east that Aledo so I'd leave Sweetwater 30 min earlier than you planned. If you need any other suggestions let me know. Abilene is home team as is Big Spring

Thanks 328. I am a little familiar with Weatherford. I will probably just stay there and
look for Montana's. Euless Trinity plays at 12 on
Pennington field. Juggs just told me that Pennington and Birdville are only about 6 miles apart. So, I might catch the first half of Trinity before heading to Birdville and then on to Aledo.

yeah Birdville and Pennington are very close...traffic might be heavy because they are both off Airport Freeway and Airport Freeway leads to a major mall..

I'm thinking an Everman-Aledo region final withe winner playing Denison.

I do know the state semifinal will be at the Death Star. All eight schools still alive agreed to it.

Even after Everman seemed to have better things to do after the clock ran out and none of them included shaking their opponents hands after the game with the exception of 3 or 4 Everman players that made a point of walking across the field to do so?
