Vega took the opening kickoff and drove the field only to have to kick a field goal. Same for Gilmer's first possession. Both defenses made good adjustments but Vega had a turnover. Gilmer is faster but Vega is HUGE. Buddy at the game said it is the biggest linemen we have seen all year, and they move good. Probably the most competitive team we have seen all year.

Gilmer even punted in the first half!!!!!

Interesting! It's hard to compare, but Wylie was up on LaVega 39-0 at half in their game earlier in the year. Wylie's starters didn't play the second half. I hope Gilmer and A Wylie keep winning. I want to see that game!
