Keep it up xlr8tor! :D (I saw where your team was picked to win this week!!)Thanks Ranger Mom, but, beating that team is kind of like beating Presidio or Slaton from what I understand. Well...maybe they are not that bad, perhaps more along the lines of Stockton. Oh well, at this point, we'd take a win over anybody. I just had a revelation. We need to schedule a pre-district game with Presidio. Hard to lose a forfeit. LOL Just my take.

I think both Forney and Midland Greenwood showed something in their first game that made them deserving of higher rankings. I doubt Matthew is showing disrespect toward Everman or Marlin.

Where do you get that Everman and Marlin dropped in ranking? Matthew has them exactly where they were in his preseason rankings. None of the top seven changed at all.

MATTHEW, What is it that makes you rank Commerce as highly as you do? I figured you might have some insider information on what their strong suit is.

On another site a couple of Commerce local fans were commenting on their team. They didn't seem to think they would get past the area round.
It was stated they thought their talent level was down this year. They said the team was loaded with mostly a highly talented sophomore class, a hand full of Seniors, and even fewer Juniors. Looking in Texas Football, they return 5 offensively and 5 defensively. Last season they got beat in the area round by New Boston 9-6. New Boston then got beat in the Regional round by Spring Hill.
