20-13 Caldwell over Cleveland in OT- really was just a hard fought game throughout with Caldwell coming up with the defense in the end

35-34 Navasota over Silsbee- Just another had fought game that was back and fourth all night coming down to a missed XP.

51-35 Coldspring over Rockdale- This game was pretty close throughout buy Rockdale's 3 INT's killed them in the end.

My thoughts, first off congrats Coldspring. #10,& #15 are pretty darn good. Coldspring has a pretty explosive offense. The turning point in the game to me was when Rockdale seamed to be in control up 28-21 forced a punt and on the 1st play halfback pass and its intercepted, all the mo went to coldspring. But the turnovers were killers for Rockdale you can't turn the ball over like that and expect to win, Rockdale down 38-28 but moving the ball well and the QB fumbles the ball around the coldspring 20 with about 6 -7 min left in the game. The Tigers should have scored on that drive then its a 3 pt game . oh well it diddnt happen that way, again not taking anything away from coldspring they played a heck of a game. I really diddnt understand going for 2 when your up 51-35 with 1:30 left in the game. Good luck the rest of the way

that interception was a back breaker, for sure, whats ashamed is nobody that just reads these will know that while rockdale was down by more than a score through most of the 4th, they never stopped, they kept driving and working and playing and hitting.....from our side, the game changer was that field goal, qb allen had to stand COMPLETELY straight up to grab the high snap, then got the ball down by bending at the waist to put it down, i've never seen anyone, college or pro, pull that off.....

the refs didnt do anyone favors last night, they were having a rough night....for us they called a block in the back on a player not even on the field and, for you guys, the runback of that onside kickoff should have been called back, our tape of that kickoff showed your guys to be some 4 yards offside on the kick and they ran by allen who ran it back......they should have given you guys 5 and kicked again, y'all might have gotten it the next time.....

as i said, if we realigned i'd love to be in district with you guys, that was a really fun game, no matter who won.....good luck next year and i invite you to come back us.......well, at least until we play caldwell, we'd forgive you for jumping ship there......
