3ADL Readers

Please go to www.texasfootball.com and vote for 3A-Edna's Kam Jones for Player of the week. If you read the stats on all of the nominees Kam's stats are amazing. 260 yards rushing with 5 TDs, 367 yards passing with another 3 TDs and 1 interception.

I think the polls close at noon today.

will do....i know little about this guy, he sounds like tebow #2, but my curiosity lies in how much of a running game edna has outside of him.....i mean if the guy is producing 600 yards a game by himself, there just aren't that many yards to produce by other running backs in a 48 min game.....what are their stats like?

In the week before our final regular season game vs. Cuero we lost our big RB to an ACL injury. Prior to that time Kam was more of a passer who would run as needed. Since then he's had to carry the load a lot more and he has stepped up in a big way. He is a great open field runner, who also throws the ball very well. Set back and he will burn you with pass, attack him and you better contain or he'll make you pay. A true dual threat.

Ervin Yates our RB who got hurt had about ~1000 yds in 8 games.

Congrats to not only Kam but the team and town of Edna. Good luck against us on Saturday and pray for safe travel and injury free game.

In this same game the RB for Edna had 128 yards to go along with Kam's numbers. Quite an impressive offensive output.
