So...i knew i was already going to have to pay for one bag to be checked on my flight today which is $20. It's $30 for a second bag. I had a second bag of goodies im taking for the people im going to see so I boxed it up and mailed it at the post office priority mail cheaper then it would have been to check it on the plane! sad deal!

Funny thing is ... it will be on the same plane ...

The real question is ... are the odds increased that the bag will be lost ... if both the post office and airline handle it?

flying American Airlines... I feel sorry for you. I've never had any luck with them. Be prepared to take off and arrive late and good luck getting the your checked bag especially if you have a connecting flight.
